HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT, is a subset of interval training. Other interval training types include Tabata, sprints, or fartlek runs. HIIT intervals are very short, 20-60 seconds, with minimal rest. Rest time usually is not longer than the working time.

This class is 45 minutes of high intensity exercise, featuring short, maximum effort sprints on the erg and vigorous floor exercises. Rest is minimal. This class will have body weight or lightly weighted floor exercises with high repetitions.

This class is the closest to traditional group fitness classes like boot camps, Orange Theory, or “burn” classes.
